Working student Vehicle and Technology Development (m/f/d)
For the development of our autonomous vehicles, we are looking for a working student (m/f/d) to support us in the commissioning and evaluation of new sensors, technologies and functions in the context of mobile robotics. Your tasks will also include integration into our software and analyzing its function. You will fit in perfectly with us, if you enjoy working with innovative technologies and pushing them to their limits when integrating them and have an agile mindset.
That makes you stand out:
- You are completing a technical degree (computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.)
- You have initial programming skills in a programming language, e.g. Python, C++, Matlab
- You are experienced in working with electrical and mechanical components and sensors
- You have a high affinity for new technologies and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics
- You are good at organizing yourself and setting priorities
- You support us on site with up to 20 hours/week in terms of working student status
That's what you like to do:
- Testing and validating drivers as well as new features and algorithms on our autonomous vehicles
- You carry out the commissioning of sensors and hardware as well as software integrations
- Commissioning and testing newly developed features in simulation and real environments
- Collecting sensor data on autonomous vehicles and analyzing and processing the data
- Support in troubleshooting, data collection and validation of functions
